Jaclyn Stapp, accomplished philanthropist, model, mentor, and children’s book author, lent her pageantry expertise as she judged the 2011 National Citrus Pageant held Feb. 4 – 6 in Orlando, Florida.
Jaclyn, who graduated from Stetson University, participated in a book signing for Wacky Jacky: The True Story of An Unlikely Beauty Queen, her debut children’s book based on her first pageant experience in her home state of Florida. By imparting valuable character lessons in an engaging story, Wacky Jacky teaches children lessons in self-esteem and the
immeasurable value of a positive attitude. This richly illustrated, playful and endearing story inspires young girls to transcend their circumstances, no matter who or what says otherwise. For more information or to purchase, visit www.WackyJackyBooks.com.
A portion of book proceeds benefit Jaclyn’s national outreach foundation, CHARM (Children Are Magical), a non-profit organization which aims to heighten awareness of children’s issues, empower young women and enrich the lives of underprivileged youth by providing them the tools for a fulfilling future.
