Her story emphasizes and teaches lessons in self-esteem, positive attitudes, and hope. Husband Scott Stapp will perform an acoustic show on board the USS George Washington at Yokosuka Naval Base for several thousand troops stationed in Japan. He will take part in a music program for tsunami victims, along with a meet and greet and Q&A.
“It is an honor to have the chance to visit Japan and help continue to raise awareness for the disaster relief.” says Stapp “Our goal is to bring positive light to the inspiring children affected by the tsunami who have continued to persevere over the last year, despite losing everything. We could not be more proud of U.S. Military troops and their families based in Japan for their sacrifices for our country. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to meet and read to them and look forward to sharing a message of encouragement with both the Japanese children and the U.S. Military families stationed there.”
